I want you to answer this question honestly and rapidly.

What’s the first answer that comes to your head?

What do you want? …

Again….

What do you want? …

One more time…

What do you want?

Often when we are asked this question, we either have a programed response or we are left speechless.

So what did you discover?

Maybe your first answer was a sandwich.

Then you said you want a better paying job.

Next you said you want to lose weight.

I want you to keep going.

Ask yourself, “what do you want?” until the answer you provide strikes emotion in your heart. 

Did you find it? What emotions does that desire invoke?

Motivation, excitement, maybe fear.

That’s ok, they are just emotions… not fortune tellers, or definers of your existence.

Just emotions… that you can manipulate.

In fact, it is more important to have a clear picture of what you want than how you are going to get there. 

So, are you clear? 

Take a few moments… close your eyes and imagine yourself as though you have achieved this goal. 

Can you picture yourself enjoying that sandwich? 🥪😉

Perhaps you see yourself debt free thanks to the new job.

Are you buying a new dress in Macy’s because your old ones are too big?

Whatever it is that you desire, get a clear picture of yourself after you have accomplished it. 

Again, what emotions did this bring up?

How will you feel when you dream is reality?

Theory suggests that by simply spending 30 seconds a day embodying this vision of yourself once you desire is complete can lead to the success you desire.
